Overview
Proksi Systems is seeking a Research Analyst to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J6 Technology Accelerator. This role supports rapid prototyping, market intelligence, human‑centered research, and early‑stage technology integration to help DLA identify and transition innovative commercial solutions.
Duties
• Conduct human‑centered interviews with DLA stakeholders, industry partners, and academia.
• Develop problem statements, discovery plans, and interview summaries.
• Perform in‑person and virtual market research to identify vendors and assess solution fit.
• Support design sprints and innovation workshops; capture key takeaways and produce POA&Ms.
• Assist with prototype incubation, including low‑code/no‑code tasks and technical interpretation.
• Prepare project documentation such as one‑page summaries, status reports, and business case materials.
• Capture and analyze experimentation results to support integration and transition planning.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and support cross‑functional working groups.
Qualifications
Minimum
◦ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Human‑Centered Design, Social Sciences, or related field.
◦ Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
◦ Experience with innovation methodologies (Lean Startup, Lean Launchpad, HCD).
◦ Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
◦ Ability to communicate professionally with government stakeholders and vendors.
◦ Proficiency with MS Teams, Zoom for Government, and collaboration tools.
Preferred
• Experience supporting DoD or federal innovation programs.
• Familiarity with CSOs, OTAs, or early‑stage product development.
• Exposure to low‑code/no‑code tools or technical diagram interpretation.
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, or design sprint activities.
• Background in market research, user research, or technology scouting.
