Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Staff Logistics Engineer Level 5 with the ability to obtain a security clearance to work with our Specialty Engineering Team out of Woodland Hills, CA. Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

What You'll get to Do:
- Perform Logistics and Product Support engineering activities and assist as a technical resource from a program's concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support phases.
- Serve as the Logistics/Sustaining POC for assigned programs and integrate into program and engineering teams.
- Support logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirements.
- Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications, etc.) to develop technical and logistics data
- Create/update relevant reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, or provisioning requirements reports.
- Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Develop maintenance concepts to ensure the most affordable and effective mission readiness solution.
- Develop and execute plans for Technical Publications/training materials
- Plan, execute, and maintain responsibility for activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readiness
- Be an engaged and versatile team member of the Integrated Logistics Support team seeking to continuously improve upon existing practices.
- Utilize engineering background and analytical skills and knowledge of a wide array of industry tools used to conduct Logistics analysis and provide status to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) on a regular basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of experience with MS; 8 years of experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Product Support, Reliability, Maintainability, or other logistics related discipline
- Experience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysis
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Life Cycle Cost Analysis
- PC mastery with Microsoft Windows Office Products, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation skills and ability to interface directly with internal program office and external customer.
- U.S. citizenship
- The ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance within a timeframe acceptable to management
- Ability to work full-time onsite at the Woodland Hills, CA facility
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
- Experience in military maintenance and sustainment support
- Engineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawings
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive change in an organization
- Knowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking logistics and inventory
- Experience in leading and monitoring assigned tasks
- Experience supporting procurement activities to meet demanding build schedules
- Experience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506 in LSA database tools such as EAGLE or SLICwave
- Experience with Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation
- Understanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modeling
- Previous experience using LSA data to develop either technical data, technical publications, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETMs), or training products
- Possess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years
