team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile

The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment, work to develop software capabilities for product implementation and demonstrate completed tasks. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of object oriented software development, Java/C++ or similar languages.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient with Java/C++ or similar languages
• Experience with object oriented development
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Git
• Desire to work in team environment
• Experience with the Missile Defense Agency
• Experience with the Objective Simulation Framework or other simulation frameworks
• Docker or containerization experience
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications
• An active Secret Security Clearance is a plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
