What You Will Be Doing
As an Aircrew Visual Media professional, you will combine creative storytelling and technical expertise to capture compelling photographic, video, and multimedia content in support of high-performance aircraft operations. Working closely with flight test teams, engineers, and aircrew, you will document aircraft performance, test activities, and operational capabilities for both internal and external audiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate in an aviation-focused, safety-critical environment, where your work directly supports flight test documentation, program compliance, and visual communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photographic, video, and multimedia content, including imagery of high-performance aircraft.
- Apply creative and technical skills to visually tell stories that support flight test, program documentation, and communications objectives.
- Collaborate with test engineers, aircrew, and program teams to determine visual media requirements and appropriate equipment.
- Support flight test documentation and ensure visual content meets specification, compliance, and operational suitability requirements.
- Operate and maintain visual media equipment, ensuring readiness for flight and ground operations.
- Follow established aviation safety, security, and aircraft operating procedures during all activities.
- Maintain awareness of general aviation concepts, flight operations, and aircraft environments.
- Organize, archive, and manage visual media assets in accordance with program and security requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and working within a file based environment, video documentation skills, still photography utilizing professional camera equipment and Camera RAW processing workflows (Photoshop and Bridge).
• Experience with industry standards video formats.
• Experience with video production camera documentation, lighting, and audio application skills.
• Experience with photography skills such as DSLR, Mirrorless
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance, per business requirements
Desired Skills:
• Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere
• Video experience with a RED camera a plus.
• Creating high quality graphics and graphic design.
• Aerial photo/video skills a plus in addition to experience in a flight test environment or experience working with any military branch, specifically Air Force.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
