You will be the System Engineer Sr. - Training & Technical Publications for the Integrated Product Support team, which is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training materials and technical publications for complex systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the System Engineer Sr. - Training & Technical Publications, you will be responsible for integrating and developing technical content for training products and technical manuals, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all materials. You will collaborate with engineering personnel to create comprehensive training materials for existing and new systems, and provide Quality Assurance (QA) oversight to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent degree
Experience and working knowledge with MIL-STD technical manuals and integration of engineering information with training courseware
Practical experience with accomplishing Quality Assurance (QA) of training modules and technical manuals
Experience with researching, developing, planning, and facilitating training (classroom and computer based)
Desired Skills:
Practical knowledge of program budgets and Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities
Strong organizational and effective prioritization skills
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices to create and facilitate learning content design and implementation
Experience using standard office software tools/ solutions e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts, in photography, video, 3D modeling and animation
Experience with technical illustration models, interpreting technical orders, and illustrated parts manuals and drawings using 3D drawing software
Demonstrated experience developing content for Computer Based Training (CBTs)
Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, and manage interpersonal dynamics
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience in partnering with relevant organizations to achieve the intended results
Ability to travel

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. - Manage the development and implementation of syllabi and training plans, and assist in the creation of specialized training modules for customer training.
- Assist the IPT Lead with budget updates and tracking for multiple contracts, and develop technology-based tracking applications and methodologies to support QA efforts.
- Interpret system technical orders, illustrated parts manuals, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams to inform training material development.
