Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking Junior to Mid-level Electrical Engineers to work with our military and civil space divisions on space-based sensors. Candidates will also work on electronics boards and subsystems for satellites. An ideal candidate works well within a team, is proficient at circuit board design, test, and debugging, and takes pride in seeing their design progress from concept to design, test, and launch. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in electrical or computer engineering
- 0-10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 0-8 years of experience with a master's degree or PhD
- Experience with circuit design
- Experience bringing up electronics in a laboratory environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance
- Must be able to travel occasionally
- Top Secret Clearance
- Experience in high reliability design for space and/or military systems
- Understanding of radiation considerations in electronic design
- Experience as a technical lead
- Experience with power converters
- Experience with high-speed communications interfaces
- Experience automating testing of electronics
- FPGA programming experience
- Embedded systems experience
