Analytics Notebook Developer

Blu Omega is seeking a talented Analytics Notebook Developer to design, build, and optimize interactive analytic notebooks that drive data-driven decision-making across our organization.

In this pivotal role, you'll translate business and analytics requirements into reproducible workflows using tools like Jupyter or Databricks, integrating data sources, code, and visualizations to craft powerful, user-friendly analytical solutions. Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure your notebooks are robust, well-documented, and aligned with organizational standards for security and reusability. Clearance Needed: Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize interactive analytic notebooks to support organizational data analysis needs
• Translate business and analytical requirements into reproducible workflows within Jupyter, Databricks, or similar platforms
• Integrate diverse data sources, code, and visualizations to produce clear and insightful outputs
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically robust, well-documented, and user-friendly
• Maintain best practices for code versioning, documentation, and security compliance
• Continuously optimize notebook performance and usability

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with Python and/or R programming languages
• Strong proficiency in Jupyter Notebook or similar interactive data environments
• Hands-on experience with data wrangling, visualization, and descriptive analysis
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows is a plus
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and task tracking systems like Jira
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Databricks or other big data platforms
• Exposure to advanced machine learning and predictive modeling
• Familiarity with data security and organizational compliance standards
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems

Salary Range: $110K - $145K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
