Full Stack Infrastructure Engineer

Prism is supporting a major mission-critical development and sustainment program to operate a large-scale network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Prism is seeking a skilled Full Stack Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud production and development environments. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities to support Prism's strategic goals today and into the future. This role is Hybrid.
Responsibilities
  • Agile Collaboration: Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams as a critical contributor, focusing on the design, testing, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity software solutions.
  • Environment Management: Oversee and maintain production systems in an AWS Cloud environment, ensuring reliable operation and security.
  • Automation & Patching: Perform automated patching, security updates, and remediation of security findings using Ansible.
  • Risk Mitigation: Assist in risk assessments and develop effective mitigation countermeasures as necessary to protect the infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
    Must be able to obtain Suitability Clearance.
  • Software Development: 6+ years of directly relevant software development experience.
  • Infrastructure Engineering: 2+ years of directly relevant experience in Agile full-stack infrastructure engineering.
  • Coding Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python for software development and automation.
  • AWS Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting production environments in AWS, including building, patching, and sustaining Amazon EC2 instances.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (Eight years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
Desired Skills & Certifications
  • Cloud Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Patch Manager.
  • Configuration Management: Proficiency with Ansible for enterprise-level automation.
  • Scripting: Expertise in automation tools such as Bash, AWK, and SED.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: In-depth knowledge of investigating and automating the remediation of security vulnerabilities and CVE findings.
  • Security Tooling: Familiarity with analyzing and remediating findings from tools like Wiz or Nessus.
  • Professional Certifications: Industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., IAT Level II compliant certifications or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional - CSSLP).
