DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:
All Points is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Team in Merritt Island, FL. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for providing daily oversight and contract management for the organization.
This is an ON-SITE position.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Manage contracts and subcontracts on a daily basis.
Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal.
Prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.
Present factual information, composes memoranda, reports, and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents.
Review and analyze contract actions for identification of discrepancies, risks, and concerns.
Examine and compare contract documents against proposals for accuracy.
Review complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
Analyze new law, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
Assist in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
To perform additional tasks as required or requested including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload.
EDUCATION:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or related discipline and/or prior related experience.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
5+ YEARS
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS required
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) STRONGLY DESIRED
Experienced with managing / administering USG contract and pricing of government contracts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
Strong desire to learn and contribute in a team-based environment.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
