About the Role:
The Data Analyst Project Manager plays a critical role in bridging the gap between data analysis and project execution within federal education programs. This position is responsible for overseeing data-driven projects from inception through completion, ensuring that analytical insights are effectively translated into actionable business strategies. The role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating timelines, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on schedule. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis to guide project decisions, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement. Ultimately, this role will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver actionable insights, improve program visibility, and enhance data-driven decision-making across federal and education-focused initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing complex data analytics or business intelligence projects, preferably in a federal contracting environment.
- Proven experience managing projects using standard project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in accordance with federal acquisition and reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior government officials and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in a relevant field.
- Experience working in agile project environments and using collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Experience supporting federal education programs, such as the Department of Education or other grant-based initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Blackboard, or similar education technology platforms.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and federal data governance standards.
Clearance Requirements:
- Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary project manager for analytics, reporting, and visualization efforts within federal education or research programs.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data-centric projects in compliance with federal standards and client requirements.
- Develop and implement data governance and analytics frameworks to improve data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
- Design and deliver custom dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, supporting both operational and executive-level reporting.
- Integrate, analyze, and interpret data from enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Blackboard, and related education technology platforms.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate mission objectives into measurable outcomes.
- Oversee project documentation, performance tracking, and deliverables aligned with federal contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal data management policies, privacy standards, and security protocols.
