Job Description:
Complete Data Solutions (CDS) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support mission-critical analytics applications for federal law enforcement customers. This role blends strong project leadership with hands-on technical involvement, focusing on delivering modern, JavaScript-based analytical user interfaces. The successful candidate will guide project execution, provide technical direction for front-end development, and collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in a secure government environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of web-based analytics applications.
• Provide technical leadership for front-end development using React and related JavaScript frameworks.
• Coordinate development activities across front-end and back-end teams.
• Oversee design and integration of Java-based REST APIs and Elasticsearch-backed data services.
• Manage schedules, priorities, risks, and dependencies across multiple work streams.
• Translate mission and user requirements into clear technical tasks and deliverables.
• Ensure solutions meet federal security, performance, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and project plans.
• Engage directly in technical problem solving and code reviews as needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading or managing technical software development projects.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.
• Working knowledge of Java-based backend services and REST API design.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or similar search and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting federal law enforcement or intelligence community programs.
• Background in data analytics or visualization tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
