Description
SAIC is seeking a C4N Production Manager to support the Navy's LCAC ACV program at NSWC PCD. This position is contingent upon award news in Summer 2026.
Work will be performed onsite 5 days a week and is located in Panama City Beach, FL.
The C4N Production Manager will directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, administrative support) and/or entry-level professionals (accountants, entry-level engineers).

The C4N Production Manager will directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, administrative support) and/or entry-level professionals (accountants, entry-level engineers).
- Manages the activities and staff in an assembly function, which may include but is not limited to a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing and welding/fitting on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- May also set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exact tolerances and dimensions.
- Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining; fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required.
- Some machines may be numerically controlled.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- 8 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with progressive responsibilities and experience in: Production planning and scheduling, Inventory management, Supply chain management, Quality control, and Team management and leadership.
- Experience in a related industry: Such as marine, aerospace, or automotive.
- Experience with manufacturing software: Such as ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles: Such as continuous improvement, wastereduction, and process optimization.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- Certifications in any of the following: Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Lean Manufacturing Certification, Six Sigma Certification, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
