ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) protects public safety and national security by identifying, apprehending, detaining, and removing individuals who violate U.S. immigration laws. ERO collaborates with state and local law enforcement agencies through the 287(g) Program, which delegates limited immigration enforcement authority to trained officers under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
