What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the technology-focused location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.
- Support Allied Universal management in upholding site protocols and reporting any incidents or irregularities as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
