Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Tester II performs independent manual testing of application modules, including boundary, integration, and workflow testing. This role is responsible for maintaining test logs, validating bug fixes, and ensuring accurate system behavior across environments.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end, functional, and exploratory testing
- Track and retest resolved issues across releases
- Provide structured feedback to QA Analysts and developers
- Contribute to user acceptance testing documentation
- Support version validation and deployment verification
- Participate in team demos and sprint ceremonies
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree and 2+ years in a QA/testing role
- Experience in writing and executing test cases
- Ability to analyze requirements and derive test scenarios
- U.S. Citizenship and active or obtainable Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile testing ceremonies and backlog tools
- Basic understanding of test metrics and reporting
