The Facility Manager at Al Udeid Air Base is responsible for overseeing the planning, operation, maintenance, and improvement of all base facilities and infrastructure. This role ensures that all facilities meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting the mission readiness of personnel and operations. The Facilities Manager coordinates with military leadership, contractors, and service providers to maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable base environment.

The Facilities Manager coordinates with military leadership, contractors, and service providers to maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable base environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily operations of base facilities including buildings, utilities, roads, and infrastructure.
- Ensure all facilities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage contracts and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility upgrades, repairs, and inspections.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities operations, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- Lead and supervise a team of facilities personnel, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Conduct facility inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and recommend solutions.
- Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives across base operations.
- Coordinate emergency response plans related to facility incidents or hazards.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership regarding facility status, projects, and performance metrics.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a military, government, or large-scale operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance processes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
