The Structures Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction activities related to base structures at Al Udeid Air Base. This role ensures all structural work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable U.S. Air Force, DoD, host nation, and industry standards. The supervisor leads skilled trades personnel and coordinates with engineering, safety, and operations teams to maintain mission-ready facilities.

This role ensures all structural work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable U.S. Air Force, DoD, host nation, and industry standards. The supervisor leads skilled trades personnel and coordinates with engineering, safety, and operations teams to maintain mission-ready facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise daily operations of structures maintenance and repair teams, including carpenters, masons, welders, and general maintenance personnel
- Plan, assign, and inspect work involving buildings, roofs, doors, windows, hangars, shelters, concrete, and other structural components
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality control standards
- Conduct inspections and assessments of facilities to identify structural deficiencies and corrective actions
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and project management teams on repairs, renovations, and new construction projects
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, materials, and labor hours
- Train and mentor personnel on proper techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials to ensure availability and serviceability
- Support emergency response and urgent repair operations as required to sustain base operations
- Enforce adherence to Air Force Instructions (AFIs), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and contract requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural maintenance, construction, or facilities management
- At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, construction methods, and building materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems or work order software
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
