Description:
Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services seeking an Security Representative Staff / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join the security team in Troy, AL.
What You Will Be Doing
As the CSSO you will perform program security duties supporting multiple special access programs as well as collateral efforts. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:
• All aspects of security to include personnel, physical, technical, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and others as applicable.
• Completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A company-sponsored Top secret with an investigation within 5 years is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-Active Top Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
-Prior experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), or Special Access Program (SAP) Security experience.
-Experience with SAP facility build and accreditation process
-Experience writing policy & procedures such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans & Construction Security Plans (CSP)
-This position requires applicants to have a Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.
-Experience with ICD 705 and DoD Manual 5205.07
-Knowledge of DISS, security clearances and eligibility
-The position requires shift flexibility based on business needs
Desired Skills:
-Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
-Experience with and knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
-Facility accreditation experience
-Experience with JADE
-The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
-Advanced computer skills, public speaking, presentation, and communication skills.
-The ability to thrive in a team environment, but also work independently when required.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
