Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post where you will engage with personnel, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
