Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This armed and driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for any suspicious activity or individuals and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Operate and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and client guidelines.
- Assist with access control, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and submit them as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response situations relevant to the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
