Job Description

As a Security Officer - Defense Dispatch Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities while providing outstanding customer service. You will help to deter incidents through routine patrols and by maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate response activities as needed.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific procedures and access control requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities, incidents, and communications within the dispatch area.
• Communicate with on-site security-related personnel to relay information and updates regarding incidents or requests for assistance.
• Assist in implementing emergency response procedures when appropriate, including coordination with external agencies as directed.
• Conduct periodic checks of security-related systems and equipment to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional tasks as assigned, in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
