As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting and reporting any unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or suspicious occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Collaborate with facility personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns in an aerospace and defense location.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or possess an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
