PNT - Configuration Management

Credence has an immediate need for a Configuration Management to support the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program. The PM PNT program provides administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army director PNT systems.

The SETA services provided to PM PNT shall support the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army's PNT portfolio. PM PNT provides coordinated PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army's mounted and dismounted platforms. PM PNT is the Army's lifecycle manager for the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS), Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS), Assured Protection and ALTNAV Technology Development; and the Resiliency and Software Assurance Measures (RSAM), as well as any future PNT efforts in both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) Management:
• Multiple statements refer to managing, organizing, conducting, and executing CCBs and associated working groups (CCBWG), including setting agendas, conducting meetings, and resolving actions. These could be consolidated into a single responsibility for managing all aspects of CCBs and associated working groups.
• Review and Maintenance of Documentation:
• The responsibilities of reviewing engineering and acquisition documentation, updating and maintaining document repositories, and ensuring documentation for audits are described in separate points but share a common theme related to document control and maintenance.
• Configuration Management Process Implementation:
• There are several references to providing CM services, developing CM plans, analyzing CM processes, and monitoring phases. These tasks could be grouped under implementing and improving the CM process for PM PNT programs.
• ECP/RFV Process Management:
• Both the management of ECP/RFV processes and maintaining repositories for these items are listed separately but are closely related activities.
• Audit Support:
• Supporting Functional and Physical Configuration Audits is mentioned independently, but this task is also implied in responsibilities related to documentation and maintaining audit readiness.

Requirements

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

• An active Secret level security clearance is required.
• A bachelor's degree in an applicable field with a minimum of seven (7) years of applicable experience or a master's degree with five (5) years of applicable experience.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management
• Strong knowledge of Configuration Management principles (Mil Handbook 61B, GEIA 649-1 and 649C preferred.)
• Experience providing support to Army electronic equipment programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess strong technical writing expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and analytical skills.
• Well versed in all Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Must be capable of developing program documentation and briefings and able to coordinate the review/approval process.
• Experience with ACAT level programs is required.
• Leveraging AI to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the Configuration Management Analyst role.
