  • Perform electrical tasks on components and systems using established work control processes, procedures and applicable safety requirements.
  • Fabricate, assemble, disassemble and maintain electronic and electro-mechanical subsystems, working from engineering drawings, schematics, procedures, and verbal instructions.
  • Organize and track parts and assemblies, identify and communicate discrepancies and provide feedback to engineers and other technical staff.
  • Propose solutions and alternate approaches to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain a high level of safety, security, and procedural compliance, including housekeeping and configuration control in fabrication and test areas.

Additional job responsibilities, at the 532.3 level
  • Perform advanced fabrication and electrical tasks on complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems, including planning work, selecting materials and equipment, and determining appropriate fabrication and assembly methods.
