The MITRE Corporation's All-Domain Integration (ADI) Department (N174) supports development and delivery of integrated, agile mission capabilities that will enable the US and Coalition forces to operate at the speed of relevance. ADI's focus is to (1) develop joint, all-domain operational concepts; (2) mature these concepts through realizable architectures; and (3) transition the developed capabilities to the warfighter. This involves the near-term modernization of fielded capabilities and development of next generation warfighter operations in all phases of systems evolution: from concept exploration, through experimentation and fielding. MITRE and the ADI department work hand-in-hand with Government sponsors and the warfighter to serve as technical advisors bringing domain experience and state-of-the-art solutions to their most demanding operational challenges. Successful candidates will join our team and immediately begin tackling emerging, high-priority challenges in the areas of all-domain operations and Combined Joint, All-Domain Command & Control (CJADC2).

N174 is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Process Engineer to lead PEO Communications, Command, Control and Battle Management (C3BM) process improvement, drive organizational change, and accelerate acquisition and transition of capabilities. The Engineer will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, integration and transition of advanced battle management and command and control (C2) capabilities. This role requires a strong background in process improvement, program management, and systems engineering, as well as proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage C3BM business innovation approaches to ensure successful execution of technical, operational and programmatic objectives.
  • Identify and address gaps that sponsors must address to advance desired reach desired outcomes
  • Partner with sponsors and supporting contractors to identify and map current and future state capabilities, processes
  • Develop and execute processes to accelerate capability experimentation, acquisition, and transition within C3BM
  • Provide subject matter expertise in C3BM and acquisition domains
  • Shape and guide experimentation, field demonstrations, and operational assessments.
  • Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and sponsors.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in DoD acquisition processes and program management with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or related technical field; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or combination of related education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
  • Deep understand of strategy and process development and improvement
  • Experience with requirements analysis, systems integration, and operational experimentation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with modeling & simulation tools (e.g., AFSIM, Cameo, MBSE).
  • Prior experience supporting INDOPACOM, USARPAC, or other Combatant Commands.
  • Certifications such as PMP, DAU PM Cert, DAU Eng Cert
  • Prior experience owning cost, schedule and performance of large programs.

Salary compensation range and midpoint:
$162,400 - $203,000 - $243,600 Annual
