Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Fairfax / Tampa / Daleville
Clearance Required: Minimum of a NACI

Position Overview:

Plateau GRP is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a platform for a U.S. Air Force initiative. The administrator will be responsible for maintaining system integrity and performance across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting disaster recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system updates and apply security patches on Windows and Linux servers, following established change management procedures.
• Conduct regular STIG reviews and remediation to ensure compliance with DoD security policies.
• Monitor system health and performance using appropriate tools, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Manage system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles to support ongoing maintenance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level environments
• Bachelors degree
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience with STIG compliance and remediation.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery best practices.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Required Certification:

• Security+ CE (IAT Level II)

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration
