Summary
As a PM (End of Week / Weekend) Shift Manager at Tex Tech Industries, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently. This position is essential to maintaining our commitment to quality and service excellence while fostering a skilled and ethical workforce.
Responsibilities
• Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure production targets are met.
• Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM M - F for four weeks, then moving to Shift D - 4 PM - 4 AM on a 3/4 alternating schedule, W - Sa for week 1 then Th - Sa for week 2.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of product output.
• Assist in training new employees on operational procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience in shift management or supervisory roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with team members and other departments.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with government contracts a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Technical degree is a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing (textile or composite manufacturing experience is a plus).
• Certifications: Forklift operator license, hazardous material handling, and respirator certification required.
• Lifetime background and willingness to submit to secret clearance process.
