Job Description
SOSi is seeking a Site Lead and Movement Coordinator for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad Iraq. The Site Lead and Movement Coordinator directs our customers contract personnel to ensure max effectiveness in supporting the U.S. Military Group-Iraq, Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS) mission.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Performs personnel management, planning, administration, project management, travel, and current operations of cultural advisors in support of the U.S. Military Group-Iraq, Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS) mission.
- Performs the role of Movement Coordinator where the coordinator receives and processes air and ground movement requests for Embassy Air and US Military and Department of State Charter Air movements, travel, and current operations of the cultural advisors and ground transportation in support of U.S. Military Group-Iraq.
- Coordinates all MILAIR movements for rotary and fixed wing military aircraft.
- Maintains access to the United States Transportation Command's Single Mobility System (SMS).
- Tracks and records all Embassy Air and ground movements, exceptions to policy, and Distinguished Visitor movements.
- Manage and lead project Cultural Advisors supporting customer.
- Maintain accountability and submit daily PERSTAT to U.S. Military Group-Iraq and SOSi PM.
- Provide monthly summary and compile all cultural advisor monthly reports of all tasks performed in support the contract and send to the U.S. Military Group-Iraq and SOSi PM.
- Support in preparation of other deliverables to U.S. Military Group-Iraq and SOSi PM as required
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Active in Scope Secret clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess demonstrated skills and experience commensurate with those expected of a military non-commissioned officer with at least 5-10 years' experience in leadership positions, experienced in planning and executing operations or an equivalent amount of corporate or private sector management experience.
- Be proficient and experienced in coordinating air and ground movements, maintain visibility of the movements. Key responsibilities may include planning and management of movements, force protection assessments, current operations, logistics, and serving as the subject matter expert for air and ground movements.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, CATTS, and Access.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in related field.

- Fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Personnel will be subject to various pre-deployment medical screenings and must be of sufficient physical health to endure at least 320 days of 365 deployed to potentially hostile and austere locations.
