Job Description
About the role
Gateway Geospatial Group (G3) is seeking an Electromagnetic Signature Analysis Engineer to conduct advanced computational modeling of radar cross-section (RCS) and high-range resolution (HRR) signatures using specialized electromagnetic software tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial and government CEM codes, strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, and the ability to produce detailed technical analyses and reports while working on both classified and unclassified projects in a Linux environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial and government CEM codes, strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, and the ability to produce detailed technical analyses and reports while working on both classified and unclassified projects in a Linux environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply Computational Electromagnetics software and theory to predict the RCS and HRR signatures of complex targets under varying conditions, configurations, and modeling parameters to meet intelligence production requirements
- Produce specialized analyses and reports supporting signature predictions, data quality assessment, modeling methods extensions, and capability assessments
- Conduct analyses employing commercial-off-the-shelf and government-off-the-shelf CEM codes on compute clusters and government high-performance computing assets, managing multiple computational workflows from geometry generation through post processing and reporting
Required qualifications
- US Citizen, as contract requires
- Familiarity with the calculation of RCS and HRR profiles
- Ability to work in a Linux environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Significant experience using CEM codes including Xpatch, CREATE-RF SENTRi or commercial capability equivalents with physical optics, method-of-moments, and finite-element solvers such as HFSS, FEKO, or CST Microwave Studio.
- Advanced knowledge and/or education in EM theory including rigorous and approximate solutions to Maxwell's equations, techniques and applications of RCS modeling, or compact range measurement.
- Advanced knowledge and/or education in RCS, HRR, and SAR signal processing
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
