Koniag Management Solutions (KMS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) to lead the implementation of AI and Automation work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Agile project management methodologies, knowledge of the Azure platform, and strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of our AI initiatives while maintaining Agile best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the project team.
- Remove impediments that impact team productivity and sprint commitments.
- Coach team members on Agile and Scrum practices, ensuring adherence to methodology.
- Manage project backlogs in coordination with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key metrics.
- Identify risks and dependencies, escalating issues when necessary.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination when multiple teams are involved.
- Support continuous improvement through retrospective actions and process refinements.
- Create and maintain Agile artifacts and documentation.
- Collaborate with technical leads to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Serve as a bridge between the development team and business stakeholders.
- Promote transparency and visibility into project status and team performance.
- Support change management activities related to implementation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, and or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software implementation projects.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum framework.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in identifying and removing impediments to team progress.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement within teams.
- Capability to adapt to changing requirements and project dynamics.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to ask clarifying questions.
- Team player who collaborates well with others.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Customer service mindset with focus on user experience.
- Adaptability and openness to feedback and coaching.

Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
- Experience with change management methodologies.
- Background in IT service management.
- Experience working in government or regulated industries.
