WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $110,000 - $125,000 annually *

*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; Salaried

SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST have an active Secret security clearance

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager / Asset Management Professional located at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA.

The PM/Asset Management Professional will provide asset management support for the USAF Cloud One program. The person that fills this position will be responsible for creating, fielding and sustaining an enterprise-grade, multi-tenancy Service Now platform as a Cloud One common service that can be offered to customers.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree and 10 years program management/asset management experience, 3 of which must be in DoD or 15 years of program management/asset management, 5 of which must be in DOD

CERTIFICATIONS:

Additional consideration will be given to candidates with the following certifications:
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
  • Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Candidates will have comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force as well as the knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform technical and professional tasks related to asset management.
  • Candidates should have the following skills:
    • Knowledge of asset and service management solutions
    • Ability to use organizational skills to streamline processes
    • Ability to organize and interpret large amounts of data
    • Experience working independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting IT asset lifecycle management for multiple programs. Tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Support the Cloud One Program Manager with creating a product baseline
  • Ensuring new products are approved by the Configuration Control Board
  • Tracing how licenses are consumed across cloud service using asset tracking
  • Auditing and supporting development of Cloud One Life Cycle Cost estimates (LCCEs) and Approved Products List
  • Managing OEM renewal LOMs and product support Form validation
  • Work with HNI Asset Management team across the HNI branches to assist with publishing HNI As-Is to To-Be processes in the HNI IT Asset Management (ITAM) internal Process Guide for Enterprise IT Service Management support
