System Engineer - MBSE & CAMEO

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for an System Engineer in Virginia Beach, VA.
• Valkyrie is looking for a talented System Engineer with expertise in Model-Base System Engineering (MBSE) with the focus on CAMEO software and TEAMWORK Cloud Administration to join our growing and talented team. This position will lead the integration of information applications, developing enterprise architecture initiatives, and play a crucial role in driving the complete implementation of CAMEO into MBSE models.

Job Description:

• Lead efforts in modeling and analyzing military systems and larger system-of-systems architectures to support critical customer investment planning.
• Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to define system capabilities, functions, and performance requirements, applying DoDAF and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
• Identify and address gaps or vulnerabilities, providing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs across IT and business operations..

Qualifications:

• Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Project and Excel).
• Must have experience with CAMEO and TEAMWORK Cloud.
• Must have5+ years of experience in System Engineering and/or Enterprise Architecture with a focus on Cameo and Model-Based Systems Engineering.

Desired Requirements

• Strong expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, or Sparx Enterprise Architect, preferred.
• Practical administration experience with TEAMWORK Cloud services, preferred.
• Proven background in systems engineering or architectural solutions, particularly in modeling and graphical representations, preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, combined with excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal abilities, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics preferred but not required.

Security Requirements:

• Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.
• Must maintain clearance eligibility to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.

Travel Requirements:

• Less than 10%
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
• Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
