This position is located in Tonopah, NV.
Summary:
Perform property control and requisition functions in accordance with Contract Statement of Work, Property Management Plan, Associate Contractor Agreements, and specified instructions, regulations, and policies. Projects and priorities will be determined by the Logistics Lead for the Northern Ranges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the NTTR Property Administrator in conducting property transactions, shipments, storage, disposition of excess property and scrap, warehouse management, and physical inventories. Research and/or resolve inventory discrepancies. Update property records using the Maximo Database Application.
Conduct Contractor Self Assessments (CSA's) as assigned and specified by the Property Administrator in accordance with the FAR 52.245-1. Maintain and/or monitor assigned material, equipment, and property accounts (e.g., Air Force, FAR 52 accounted material, Supply Points, Air Force Equipment Management accounts, and Government provided vehicles).
Use the Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) application tool to research items with National Stock Number's (NSN) and search individual commercial vendor websites to verify item data as for non-stock listed items.
Process Air Force purchase requests into the Enterprise Solution Supply (ESS) and General Services Administration (GSA) Supply Center. Process Commercial Purchase Requisitions (PR's) into the Property Management System (Maximo). Prepare Material/Service Requisitions to include repairs, maintenance, and warranty services. Ensure supporting documentation and justification is included for both Commercial and Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) purchases using hard copy forms, Maximo and ESS.
Perform shipping, receiving, and distribution duties.
Manage, store, and ship/receive Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) in accordance with the Hazcom Program Policy.
Perform equipment custodian duties for assigned Air Force Equipment Authorization accounts.
Maintain accountability for all government-furnished equipment.
Perform all other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education : High school graduate or high school equivalency and at least five years related experience. CPPS or CPPA certification from NPMA Certified Professional Property.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this Position:
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52 property control requirements; Knowledge of Air Force Manual 23-122; Working knowledge of MAXIMO requisitioning and receiving modules. Ability to maintain accurate documentation; Working knowledge of the U. S. Air Force Supply System, programs, policies, procedures, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; Analytical ability to define or recognize the aspect of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines; Knowledge of Hazardous Communication Programs; Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to successfully work with vendors, customers and interdepartmental representatives; Ability to travel overnight as required by the company. Must possess a valid Nevada Driver's License and be able to obtain a US Government Operator's Identification Card for operation of a forklift. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Ability to operate a computer with speed and accuracy and extract accurate data. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with customers and team members. Proper English grammar, usage, spelling and punctuation; Modern business office procedures, including filing systems and business correspondence.
Working Environment, Physical and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, prolonged sitting while using the computer and the telephone, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness. On occasion, must have the ability to perform certain physical tasks necessary to the normal supply operations which may include moderate lifting and moderate carrying not to exceed 37 lbs. 5 ft. above the floor, 44 lbs. 3 ft. above the floor, or 42 lbs. when carrying an object 33 feet or less. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret complex data and information; use math and mathematical reasoning; analyze and solve problems; learn and apply new information; perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions;
