This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

- You will organize, plan, assign and direct new and ongoing tasking.
- You will evaluate the work results of subordinates and set objectives for them to achieve branch compliance.
- You will oversee the execution of branch tasking that is operational in nature, as well as ensure efficient and effective operation of branch technical and business processes.
- You will resolve work problems which may technical and/or personal in nature.
- You will approve timecards, travel authorizations/vouchers, and leave for subordinates, and manage incentive pay and performance evaluations in accordance with NUWC policy.
- You will recommend discipline, promotions, and awards/recognition for subordinates, as well as establish training plans and provide technical and career guidance to subordinates and other outside of the branch.

- You will participate in the development of overall planning for the Corporate Operations department and ensure that the Branch plans reflect overall department goals and are consistent with allocated resources.
- You will ensure Continuous Process Improvement goals are met, and ensure steps are taken to reduce product life cycle costs.
- You will address security safety, environmental, and other organization data calls and actions.
