Credence has an immediate opening for a Program Support Specialist at the senior level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F-16 division at WPAFB, OH.
F-16 "Viper" AFLCMC/WAM is headquartered at Hill Air Force Base with units located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Tyndall Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The F-16 "Viper" is a multi-role fighter jet delivering air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surveillance capabilities for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Coalition Partners.
The F-16 program has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in U.S. history producing over 4,500 jets for 24 countries. Each F-16 FMS case is uniquely tailored to country requirements / development / funding. Presently, FMS production orders exist through 2030. Additionally, the F-16 program includes the Multi-National Fighter Program (MNFP). MNFP is not a typical FMS program, but a unique, cooperative USAF and development program implemented through the FMS process under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). MNFP began in 1975 with the countries of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway; Portugal joined in 200.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
- Perform an integral role in assisting requirements definition with higher HQ; serve as key advisor to program leadership on targeting pod critical capability trades as required.
- Support government fielding of targeting pod capabilities on the F-16 by interfacing with HQ ACC divisions, targeting pod program offices, AF sustainment centers and major defense Contractors, DT&E and OT&E test organizations, ANG/AFRES headquarters/test organization, and the internal F-16 functional organizations.
- Assist to manage integration test execution for the Sniper XR, Sniper Sensor Enhanced, LITENING Gen 4, and LITENING Sensor Enhanced targeting pods with F-16 software programs.
- Support the branch management in risk, cost, schedule, and performance of various targeting pod integration efforts in a program management role.
- Support the planning and organizing of program/project activities and analysis and perform professional or technical work related to program management.
- Assist to plan, organize, complete, and present assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
- Assist to evaluate implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/laws and recommend improvements.
- Assist to analyze status changes and rapidly build integration schedule changes to mitigate both F-16 and pod schedule shifts.
- Assist with performing schedule and status analysis across Pod, weapons, and M-Series (F-16 Specific Post Block OFP Software) (F-16 Pre-Block is System Capability Upgrade (SCU)) software programs for the F-16 fleet to develop and provide an analytical product to assist higher HQ deployment scheduling.
- Assist with cost estimating for targeting pod and/or weapons integration and test and support financial cost estimator development of F-16 USAF program cost estimates and budget submissions.
- Assist to perform estimates to ensure sufficient funding to execute out-of-cycle integration of targeting pod and/or weapons with F-16 OFP software.
- Assist to analyze situation and provide recommendations for cost savings to government action officers through combining efforts, using organic resources and alternate contracting approaches.
- 3.2.2.10 The Contractor shall assist in drafting Procuring Contracting Officer Letters (PCOLs) with appropriate and clear task descriptions/completion criteria. The Contractor shall assist to develop task cost estimates for the CO to support proper management of a time and materials instrument.
- Assist to identify requirements and ensure the timely delivery of operations and maintenance technical orders occur with each targeting pod and/or weapons update.
- Inform management and program stakeholders with concise, coherent fielding recommendations and configuration change and program status briefings to senior staff.
- Support, as required, UON execution teams by identifying requirements, recommending trade-offs among risk, schedule, performance, and cost to accelerate integration required to satisfy operational need.
- Serve as an advisor to the F-16 Materiel Leader and support senior leadership efforts in identifying cost efficiencies for aircraft trainer/simulator programs.
Requirements
- Must have at least an active secret clearance.
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, at least five (5) of which must be in the DoD
- OR, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
- OR, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
- Major command or corporate HQ level experience, ideally at the HQ USAF, HQ Air Force Material Command (AFMC) or HQ ACC level
- Minimum of five years of experience in avionics and weapons capabilities integrated with targeting pods; aircraft operations and employment; development of PVI for targeting pod operations; software requirements development; and support equipment
- Expertise to coordinate across functional branches in program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, Financial Management (FM), test, security management, information management, and contracting
- Knowledge of the OFP software development and testing processes to implement user requirements. Recommend proficiency in Microsoft Project
