Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience)

Occasional travel
Business - Support
Tampa, FL (On-Site/Office)
Type: Full-time
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required (must be comfortable operating in highly compartmented environments)
Travel: Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel for planning events and mission support
Remote: Limited remote may be possible when mission allows, and approvals are in place
You will be the planner who helps translate sensitive capabilities into real, executable options for senior leaders. As an STO Planner supporting USCENTCOM, you will integrate Special Technical Operations into strategy and operational planning, coordinate across joint and interagency stakeholders, and produce decision-ready products that can survive senior-level scrutiny.
This is not a “sit in the back and take notes” job. You will be shaping courses of action, deconflicting sensitive activities, and helping leadership understand what is possible, what is risky, and what needs coordination.

Coordinate STO planning and synchronization across staff directorates, components, Joint Staff, OSD, and interagency partners as required.
Develop and refine compartmented planning products, storylines, and briefings for senior leaders.
Identify gaps, constraints, and risks, then propose mitigation and alternative approaches.
Ensure activities are properly coordinated, deconflicted, and aligned with commander’s intent and applicable authorities.
Maintain strict operational security and handle sensitive information appropriately across all stages of planning and execution support.
Required qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Demonstrated experience supporting operational planning in a joint environment (JOPP familiarity is important).
Experience working on a Combatant Command HQ staff (or equivalent joint operational headquarters experience).
Strong writing and briefing skills, especially under short suspense and high visibility.
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders while keeping sensitive activities protected.
Preferred qualifications
Direct STO, SAP, or other compartmented planning experience.
Experience integrating sensitive capabilities into OPLAN/CONPLAN, contingency planning, campaign planning, or crisis action planning.
