Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Human Engineer in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities for the Human Engineer:
· Use human engineering principles to analyze and design complex aerospace systems.
· Define requirements to make sure people can safely and effectively operate the system.
· Apply human performance research to improve system usability.
· Plan and conduct studies, tests, and prototype evaluations.
· Use military standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1472, MIL-STD-1787, MIL-STD-3009) in design work.
· Work with teams across engineering disciplines to integrate human engineering into system development.
Qualifications for the Human Engineer:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, human factors, cognitive psychology, or another relevant field.
· 3+ years of experience in human engineering or a related area (or equivalent education/experience).
· Ergonomics or human factors certification.
· Knowledge of Human Systems Integration (HSI).
· Experience working with military standards and defense programs.
· Able to obtain security clearance

- $110,000 to $160,000 *Depending on Experience
- Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
