Peraton is seeking a professional Cloud Software Engineer to join our Cyber Missions team. This role is ideal for someone who's excited to grow their skills, work with modern cloud technologies, and contribute to meaningful, mission-driven projects from day one.
You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors while supporting the full software development lifecycle-gaining hands-on experience and building a strong technical foundation.

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering)
- A master's degree will give you two additional years towards the years requirements below
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across the full development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting (6 years with a master's degree)
- Experience working with open-source, distributed NoSQL technologies (e.g., HBase, Accumulo, Bigtable)
- At least 1 year of experience programming in a high-level language such as Java, C, or C++
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Elastic Certified Engineer
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
