- Evaluate and recommend configuration tools; design, implement, and maintain chosen solutions.
- Administer and monitor software infrastructure and applications.
- Analyze and incorporate software, hardware, and database designs into technical baselines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, including requirements, APIs, test reports, and security artifacts.
- Manage source repositories and ensure COOP replication for production configurations.
- Conduct audits, inventories, and assessments to meet cybersecurity requirements.
- Validate technology requirements periodically and maintain configuration integrity.
- Implement CM discipline across the full system lifecycle and maintain configuration baselines.
- Oversee change control processes, configuration audits, and chair control board meetings.
- Develop and maintain CM plans, documentation repositories, and release tracking.
- Lead code reviews, ensure release integrity, and oversee packaging for deployment.
- Provide leadership in CM practices and manage CM budget and staffing.
Qualifications for the Configuration Manager Tier 3 include:
- Experience Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in Configuration Management.
- Required Skills:
- Expertise in Configuration Management practices and processes.
- Strong knowledge of technical baseline configurations for enterprise systems.
- Experience with COOP (Continuity of Operations).
- Ability to lead Change and Configuration Control Board meetings.
- Proficiency with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with CM tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
- Scripting skills for automation and process improvement.
- Clearance Requirement:
- Must hold or be able to obtain DOE Q Clearance OR Top Secret Clearance.

- Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
