Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has the need for an Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Technician Resource Manager to oversee the allocation, assignment, scheduling, and performance of ESS technician staff across multiple projects. This role ensures that technicians are effectively deployed to meet project demands while maintaining organizational efficiency.

Job Description:
- Resource Allocation: Assign technicians to specific projects based on skill sets, availability, and organizational priorities.
- Workforce Planning: Forecast staffing needs, balance workloads, and manage competing demands across project lines.
- Performance Management: Monitor technician performance, provide feedback, and coordinate with project managers to ensure quality standards.
- Skill Development: Identify training needs, support career development, and foster continuous learning among technical staff.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project managers and technicians to resolve conflicts and align goals.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine resource management processes to enhance efficiency and adaptability in a matrix environment.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resource utilization, capacity planning, and technician performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or related field or an associate's degree or military technical school with additional years of experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree .
- Must have technical Understanding: Familiarity with technician roles, tools, and industry standards necessary to install and maintain Electronic Security System equipment, read drawings, and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in technical resource management or project coordination.
- Must be proficient in resource management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Desired Qualifications:
- Manufacturer's certification or technical training is highly desirable (Lenel, Milestone, Security+. CISSP) preferred.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and practices such as grounding and electrical safety is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with DoD ESS requirements preferred.
- Experience in a matrix organization structure is highly preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" security clearance with the possibility to upgrade to "Top Secret" if required.
- Must be a US Citizen with a valid Driver's License.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 20% Travel, international and domestic, depending on program requirements.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, & kneel up to 75% of the time.
- Repetitive motion, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, hearing, and visual acuity (depth perception).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
