Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate new technology into advanced development prototypes for next-generation front-end systems.
• Provide network administration for network processor research labs, fielding of systems, and support of fielded systems.

Requirements:

• Possession of one (1) of the following certifications is required:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technically similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience establishing LANs, including creation and configuration of common services.
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience assembling and configuring equipment racks comprised of switches and Linux hosts, including installation of fiber optic and copper cabling.
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience administering Linux systems, including installation of servers using PXE (e.g., Cobbler/Kickstart), producing RPMs for custom software installation, and/or installation of Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux servers.
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of two (2) years of experience with large system administration environments exceeding 100 nodes.
• US citizenship and an active security clearance required
