Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a part-time Project Management Specialist (Project Analysis, Senior Associate) The successful candidate will serve at the Patuxent Naval Air Station, MD site. This Senior level role will be working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the Cyber Planning and Response Center (CPRC) and performs all functional duties independently.
This position is part-time (less than 30 hours per week) and currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities
- May provide expertise in a particular business and/or domain area such as logistics, financial management, change management, talent management, or in a specific technology area.
- Collect, complete, organize and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
- Analyze requirements, status, budget and schedules and perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
- Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with engineers, technicians, and managers to assist in the production of high-quality documentation.
- Assist with the creation of documentation deliverables including, but not limited to, requirements specifications, design documents, test plans/procedures/reports, scientific and technical reports, technical data packages, user manuals, operations and maintenance manuals, training materials, project briefings, and management plans.
- Support the development of policy directives, guidebooks, program/project briefing materials, and correspondence.
- Work closely with government clients and team members to ensure schedules and objectives are met and exceeded.

Required Qualifications
- 10 years of project management experience and/or technical writing/editing experience including editing, preparation, and production of technical reports, presentation materials, and other related documentation
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS-Project, One Pager Pro) related to artifact generation
- Demonstrated writing/editing skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources, organize and synthesize the information into a clear point of view, and create a concise and well-written narrative
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) risk management policies, requirements, and procedures
- Familiarity with governing standards and guidelines for preparing technical documentation
- Effective oral and written communication skills with technical and management staff
Desired Qualifications
- Technical writing experience within a DoD environment
- Prior military experience
