We are actively seeking a Network and Video Engineer with a minimum of 11 years of experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree. This role supports a customer organization that delivers video engineering services on a global scale. The enterprise operates a carrier-class WAN and a complex, diverse campus environment. This position will provide systems and network engineering support to the customer’s mission partners.
Network Operations: Understanding LAN/WAN operations, protocols, architectures, and topologies
Information Security: Knowledge of security policies, risk management, and vulnerability assessments
Video Technologies: Familiarity with video conferencing, streaming, and content delivery networks
Networking Fundamentals: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting networking devices (multiplexors, firewalls, etc.)
Accreditation Process: Knowledge of security assessments and compliance frameworks for video and communications systems
Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Dynamic Environment: Adaptability to changing priorities and technologies
Experience with teleconferencing codecs (Polycom, Cisco)
Proficiency in testing and evaluating A/V equipment (microphones, cameras, displays)
Experience designing A/V solutions for video conferencing and streaming
Familiarity with Visio for network diagrams and technical documentation
Experience with Polycom and Cisco VTC systems (configuration and troubleshooting)
Skills in designing and maintaining testing documentation (test plans, cases, reports)
Experience with Trident V2CDS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and firewall troubleshooting (SIP, H.323)
Familiarity with other UC systems (Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle) and Cisco UC solutions (CUCM, CUBE, CMS)
Experience with VMware ESXi hypervisor servers
