Engineering Lead (Architect) - Remote/Fort Meade, MD
Full Visibility is seeking an Engineering Lead (Architect) to work remote with occasional travel to Fort Meade MD. Candidate must possess an active Secret clearance.
The Engineering Lead (Architect) will:
•Continuously monitor and maintain oversight of all aspects of information technology projects.
•Make determinations for project approach, software platforms, hardware, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
•Participate in the management and implementation of large, complex information technology systems.
•Identify user requirements and describe available services or refer inquiries to appropriate staff within the installation.
•Provide technical support to users and assists them in defining and resolving computing problems within well-defined areas of responsibility.
•Provide input for the preparation of documentation for supported products for staff members and users.
•Provide input for user training materials and assist in conducting training sessions as assigned.
•Perform programming tasks to assist users.
•Travel to customer sites to analyze and enhance IT systems used within the organization.
•Conduct interviews and other research activities.
•Provide technical, managerial, and administrative assistance for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems within the subject matter area.
•Make recommendations and advises on organization-wide system improvements, optimization, or maintenance efforts.
This position will mainly be remote, but the candidate will need to be local to the area, and able to attend on-site meetings at Ft. Meade on occasion.

Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- At least Eight (8+) years of experience leading complex IT initiatives, overseeing technical direction, and guiding system architecture decisions.
- Proven ability to analyze system requirements, define technical approaches, and support lifecycle engineering activities.
- Skill in coordinating with stakeholders, gathering user needs, and translating them into actionable technical plans.
- Background in troubleshooting escalated issues, supporting Tier III operations, and recommending system improvements.
- Experience supporting configuration management, documentation, testing activities, and system updates.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, write procedures, develop training materials, and support system integration efforts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and customer environments.
