This role supports mission-critical application sustainment and backend administration within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance environments for federal operations.
In this role, you will administer and configure a suite of enterprise applications across Windows and Linux environments, supporting DevOps and application lifecycle management in a secure federal setting.
What You'll Do
As an Application Administrator, you will:
- Administer, configure, and sustain enterprise applications hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Support backend application services across Windows and Linux environments
- Install and manage application client tools on VMware VDI images and pools
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for application integrations and connectivity issues
- Configure load balancing for enterprise applications
- Implement and maintain SAML/SSO authentication configurations
- Maintain licenses, credentials, and key secrets in secure vaults
- Apply and document compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Create management plans, validate system sizing, and forecast future capacity needs
- Assist in defining requirements and supporting design, build, and testing of data center technology components
- Develop and maintain CDRL and technical documentation in accordance with federal standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Remote support for federal systems
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Public Trust clearance required or higher
- 7-10 years of experience administering Linux environments
- 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- 3-5 years of experience with VMware VDI / Horizon environments
- 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
- 3-5 years of experience with Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Octane
- Demonstrated experience installing and supporting application client tools on VDI images/pools
- Experience troubleshooting application connectivity and integrations
- Hands-on experience with STIG implementation and compliance documentation
- Experience producing and maintaining CDRL documentation
- Familiarity with enterprise DevOps and application sustainment in secure environments
Preferred Experience:
- Administration of ALM Octane, UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI
- Experience with CyberArk
- Load balancing configuration for enterprise applications
- SAML/SSO authentication integration
- Support high-impact federal ERP systems in a secure cloud environment
- Work with experienced DevOps, infrastructure, and security professionals
- Fully remote role supporting national mission priorities
