Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided:

Description of Duties:
The NMAC System Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
***Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule, and can remain on-site for extended periods during emergencies and drills.
This position will be filled and work onsite at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado

- Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
- Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
- Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
- Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The NMAC System Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, peripheral, and networking problems in stressful situations.
- Explain technical concepts to inexperienced users.
- Optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Create Incident Reports on system issues and performing system data collection.
- Perform and provide server, workstation, and application expertise to government, civilian and contractor users.
- Provide support to other work centers and test community.
- Travel to off-site location with the supported community user.
- Escort and provide support to engineers and maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate with other Mission Assurance Centers.
- Order replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Sec+)
- 4 years or more of general work experience
- 1.5 years or more of direct work experience
- Working knowledge and system administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments; Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware; VMWare and system visualization; and Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies
- Red-hat or Linux experience/knowledge
- Understanding of virtual machine and Remote Desktop
- Windows System Administration experience or Background with SPADOC or space situational analysis/space orbital
Desired Requirements:
- Associate of Science Degree in a computer field
- Virtual Machine Certifications
- Cyber and Space Operations experience
- Basic understanding of network topologies and protocols
- Remedy trouble ticket experience
