Job Description
Candidate will report to the Production Operations Manager for Air Dominance. The candidate will support the Futures Directorate, implementing the newest designs and spiral developments to production. The Role will interface with all sites to identify affordability and Design to Cost opportunities for implementation into future block upgrades. The role requires the candidate to support proposals, hardware and throughput analysis, as well as serving as the technical liaison between our Design Engineering and operations teams. Additional support includes strategizing the transition to production and cut-in of block upgrades, manufacturing readiness assessment support, and cut-in of block upgrades, and monitoring of yields to prioritize design improvements. Significant coordination with other functional areas including Engineering, Program Management, and GSC to drive closure to technical/supplier initiatives or concerns.

-Production process knowledge

-Must possess and demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership competencies
-Budget Management experience
-Confident in use of Excel
-Candidate must have a final Secret Clearance

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Leading meetings, identifying opportunities for savings and overall product improvement, program schedule planning, manpower planning, hardware support, scheduling, NRE activities, and lean initiatives.
- Serving as the technical liaison between Design Engineering and operations teams.
- Supporting proposals, hardware and throughput analysis.
- Strategizing the transition to production and cut-in of block upgrades, including manufacturing readiness assessment support.
- Monitoring yields to prioritize design improvements.
- Coordinating with Engineering, Program Management, and GSC to resolve technical and supplier issues.
- Authoring Program Directives (PDs) or Statements of Work (SOWs) to provide direction per command media requirements.
- Traveling to multiple sites (up to 25%).
- Utilizing strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
