Job Description
BAE Systems, one of the world's largest defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is hiring a Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in Jacksonville, FL. The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) will provide onsite support for all security actions in accordance with NISPOM, BAE Systems Policies and Procedures, as well as other Federal Government regulations. The AFSO will assist the FSO with security briefings and debriefings, self-inspections and assist with the security operations of the facility.

Full-Time Salary Range: $73778 - $125422
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Clearance:
- This role requires an active SECRET security clearance.
- This will be an onsite role where you will work at the Jacksonville, FL site.
- The position will require
- Serve as a member of the Security Team and support security measures in accordance with Defense (DoW) contract terms and conditions, government requirements, and company policies
- Work cross-functionally to support Security strategies related to Industrial Security programs (Security, Fire, Emergency Services, and Business Continuity
- Interact with functional leads and engage with government customers and security leaders in support of DoW programs, contracts, and proposals
- Establish professional relationships with law enforcement and corporate legal, human resources, facilities, and other business departments
- Administer security programs and procedures for classified/unclassified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
- Support physical security requirements, risk evaluations, audits, investigations, and protection of assets
- Utilize video and access control systems, case management software, and forensic evidence collection equipment
- Support data management, analytics, and reporting, including security operations plans and documented event reports
- Support security best practices and process improvements to enable program execution
- Work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
- Analyze both data and situations for appropriate response
- Positively affect organizational dynamics
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

- Bachelors degree + 4 years of experience or equivalent
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in Industrial Security within US Government, Defense, Corporate Security, or related environment
- Experience in Security risk assessment, investigations, and audits
- Experience in Security equipment and software, such as, security access, cameras, and alarm systems
- Experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Ability to use discretionary judgment to resolve both routine and non-routine issues
- Ability to work in a team-based environment with other business professionals
- Ability to multi-task within a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Professional Certifications, such as, CPP, PSP or CFE a plus.
- Experience in industrial security for a DOW (formerly DOD) contractor under the NISP a plus.
- Experience in Military Security regulations and operating procedures a plus.
- Experience in generating technical templates for DOW (formerly DOD) proposals and/or program management activities a plus.
- Experience with DISS, NISS, and SIMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of business continuity and crisis management planning and procedures a plus.
- Knowledge on information on security planning measures a plus.
- Strong investigative and case management skills a plus.
