What You'll Do:
- Operate as a dispatcher by monitoring communications systems and coordinating responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Assist site personnel and visitors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access by maintaining awareness of site operations and monitoring entry and exit points.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client site requirements.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support emergency response activities as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of site protocols and procedures relevant to the aerospace and defense location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton are preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
