We are currently seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst (DM Analyst) to support the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program (PMA-262) in Patuxent River, Maryland.
The Senior Data Manager provides expert-level data management support to PMA-262, ensuring the integrity, traceability, and configuration control of aircraft and product program data throughout the acquisition life cycle. This position supports mission-critical and high-visibility program activities and operates with minimal oversight while ensuring compliance with
Duties will include, but are not limited to :
Responsible for collecting, organizing, maintaining, and interpreting technical and programmatic data associated with aircraft and related product programs.
Managing and maintaining configuration control of acquisition products and program data in accordance with NAVAIR and DoD policies.
Tracking, documenting, and auditing configuration changes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across systems and stakeholders.
Coordinating, developing, and supporting Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), including data preparation, review, impact analysis, and implementation tracking.
Applying government-instituted processes for documentation control, change control management, and data management across the program life cycle.
Ensuring data compliance with contractual, regulatory, and program requirements, including proper version control and records management.
Serving as a primary data management subject matter expert (SME) for the program office, advising leadership on data-related risks, impacts, and best practices.
Supporting integration and alignment of data across engineering, logistics, configuration management, and program management functions.
Required Education:
Master's degree (MA or MS) from an accredited institution.
Or allowable substitutions:
Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree .
OR
Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree .
OR
Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree .
Required Experience:
A minimum of Ten ( 10) years of relevant professional experience supporting data management, configuration management, or acquisition programs, preferably within a DoD or NAVAIR environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex data management tasks across multiple stakeholders.
Desired Experience
Extensive experience performing data management functions within defense acquisition or aerospace programs.
Familiarity with NAVAIR, DoD, or government configuration management and data governance processes.
Experience supporting or managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and configuration change tracking.
Strong understanding of technical data environments supporting aircraft systems, lifecycle management, and acquisition documentation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

The salary range for this position is $86,190.40 to $129,285.60 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
